Day 2: Halong Bay Tour -Day Cruise – A Journey into Nature’s Masterpiece
After an early morning pick-up at your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter around 7:30 AM, you will begin a scenic drive through the countryside, passing rice fields and peaceful villages along the expressway to Halong Bay. The journey takes approximately two and a half hours.
Upon arrival at Halong I Port around 11:30 AM, you will board five-star day cruise. As you step onto the elegant deck, you’ll be welcomed with a refreshing drink and a warm smile from the crew. Once settled, the cruise begins gliding through the emerald waters, surrounded by towering limestone karsts that rise dramatically from the bay.
A buffet lunch will be served onboard at noon, offering a delightful selection of fresh seafood and Vietnamese specialties, accompanied by panoramic views from the dining area.
Your first destination is Sung Sot Cave, the largest and most magnificent cave in Halong Bay. After a short walk through a forested stone path and ascending a series of steps, you’ll enter a surreal world of ancient rock formations, illuminated to reveal their natural splendor.

The journey to Sapa, winding through mountains and valleys, takes approximately six hours. Along the way, mist often brushes against the windows, hinting at the highland mystery that awaits.
Around 12:30 PM, you’ll arrive in the cool mountain town of Sapa, where the air is crisp and scented with pine. After check-in and a short break, enjoy a warm local lunch before beginning your afternoon adventure.
In the early afternoon, your guide will take you on a journey to Cat Cat Village, nestled in a lush valley surrounded by terraced rice fields and distant peaks.
