ITINERARY
• A less touristy route in Cu Chi Tunnel.
• This site is marvelous to explore due to its narrow and rough underground passageways, Ben Duoc
Memorial Temple, shooting range, etc.
• It provides all the necessary formation and improvement of the tunnel and can get the most genuine
experience of the Vietnam War in the southern part.
• There was the headquarters where were devised the strategy and tactics.
• There is a wide range of recreational activities, such as a shooting range.
• Ben Dinh was the location of battles that frequently suffered from the sweeps of enemies.
• Ben Dinh Tunnel covers a limited area of 17 hectares, while the Ben Duoc is five times as big,
approximately 100 hectares.
• A more touristy route in Cu Chi Tunnel.
- We will drop at Cu Chi Tunnel. We will see firsthand the remnants of wartime, the secret bunkers used as military shelters for Vietnamese soldiers, and watch the documentary to understand how Vietnamese people could fight bravely to gain our independence.
- Then, crawling into those tunnels to imagine how terrible people’s lives were in the past, shooting with different types of guns, especially the AK47 or M16 (Bullet cost excluded). At the end of the tour, we will get to try tapioca and hot tea water, which were the daily dishes of the soldiers in the past.
- Finally, we head back to Ho Chi Minh City and will drop off at the hotel at about 2:30 PM (ETA).
