    15 DAYS IN VIET NAM

    Destination: Hochiminh city, Mekong delta, Cu chi tunnel, Bà nà hill, Hoi An, Hue city, Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Ninh Binh, Sapa.

    Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City- Arrival

    Welcome upon arrival by local, we then transfer to the hotel with free time.

    Overnight in Saigon.

     

    Day 2: HCM– Cu Chi Tunnels (B)

     

    This morning, we visit the Reunification Palace, the former Presidential Palace for the president of the South of Vietnam. After that, we will visit the War Remnant Museum, where we can see countless artifacts, photographs, and pictures documenting the second Indochina war. Before our lunch, we stop at Notre Dame Cathedral and Central Post Office.

     

    In the afternoon, we will leave Saigon for the Cu Chi tunnels. On our way there we will drive through the pleasant countryside; rubber plantations and rice paddies. Before entering the tunnels, we will see a short introductory video showing how they were constructed, followed by an exploration of the maze of tunnels, some of which have been widened to allow tourist access. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank, as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500lb bombs, dropped by B52 bombers. After that, we transfer back to Saigon. Relax and overnight in Saigon.

    Day 3: HCM– Mekong Delta 1day (B,L)

    At 07.30am, meeting our tour guide at your hotel and leave Ho Chi Minh City. It takes one hour and thirty minutes driving to get to My Tho town. One the way, travelers will have chance to see these beautiful landscape along the road such as the green rice fields, the peaceful Vam Co Dong river and the busy Long An town.

     

    Arrive to My Tho town, visit Vinh Trang pagoda an oldest ancient one in Southern Vietnam. Known as the largest pagoda and the most special architecture in Mekong Delta. Its architecture was influenced by Vietnamese culture and Khmer’s culture as well as European’s architecture

     

    Then transfer to the pier boat for getting on a motorized boat. Take a leisurely boat ride in Tien River to enjoy fresh air, to see the peaceful life of the local people, passing the stilt house, the fishing floating farm, the four Islands (Dragon, Phoenix, Tortoise, and Unicorn)

     

    After passing Rach Mieu Bridge, we disembark at Thoi Son Islet that locates on Phoenix Island. Take a leisurely walking on the village paths, visit local people’s home, orchard garden and enjoy seasonal fruits while listening to traditional Southern folk music.

     

    Then visit honey bee farm and taste delicious honey tea with lemon that is really good for health. Local people also have python farm for those tourist, who like adventure can take a photo with pythons.

     

    Take a hand- rowed sampan through the creeks for sightseeing the natural water coconut trees a symbol in the Delta areas.

     

    Return to the motorized boat then cruising to Ben Tre province, visit coconut candy workshop to know how to make delicious candies by hand.

    Having lunch at Riverside restaurant

    After lunch, cruising to Unicorn Island to visit crocodile farm and visit the remains of Coconut belief.

    Then take a short walking through the narrow village path to the car

    Return to Ho Chi Minh City around 5.00pm.

    Day 4: HCM– Danang- Hoi an– Walking Tour (B)

    We take a morning flight to Danang from Saigon today after breakfast at the hotel. The local tour guide and driver welcome us at Danang airport then drive us along the coast highway to Hoi An ancient town.

     

    Later afternoon, we have a walking tour in Hoi An town – one of the World’s Culture Heritages of Vietnam. This quaint riverside town still boasts a wealth of century’s old traditional architecture. The influences of several Asian cultures can be seen in old houses and waterside buildings. It is also famous as a place to be instantly created inexpensive tailored outfits. Overnight in Hoi An.

    Our tour guide will take you to Hoi An ancient town to visit the Japanese Covered Bridge. A beautiful bridge was built by the old Japanese in the 16th century as the Sword on the back of Namazu- a sea monster that has been making earthquakes in Japan.

    Our tour guide will tell you the beautiful architecture and stories about this wonderful bridge.

    After that, we will go to visit Tan Ky old house. It is a 200 years old merchant house of Vietnamese with the fabulous architecture of Vietnamese, Japanese, and Chinese.

    Our tour guide will explain to you how beautiful it is in Fengshui and the settings of this ancient house.

     

    we will go to visit is the Fujian Assembly Hall (Phuc Kien Assembly Hall). It is a typical Chinese Assembly Hall where the Chinese Businessmen worship the Goddess Mazu- the sea mother who helps and rescues people in accidents on the Ocean.

    Phuc Kien Assembly Hall is a very important business club in the Chinese community.

    After the beautiful clubhouse of Chinese, we will go to the local handicraft space to learn how to make Hoi An lanterns. The locals there will guide you on how to make the typical traditional lantern of Hoi An.

    After making the beautiful lanterns, you will keep what you made to be your souvenir. 

    Last but not least, we will go to visit Hoi An market. It is the biggest market in the ancient town of Hoi An.

    Our tour guide will show you and explain how the locals sell and buy things, and how to bargain as well. Finish Hoi An Walking Tour Half Day, you are free in the ancient town.

    Day 5: Hoi An- My Son sanctuary (B,L)

    07:30-8:30 Driver and guide pick you up from your hotel. Starting this morning with visiting My Son Holy Land

    09:30 Arrive in My Son, you are going to find out a unique beautiful sanctuary world of the ancient Cham religion. You will have a chance to discover My Son- the old Holy Land of Cham kingdom with secret mossy towers in the 19th century, enjoy featured music show of Cham people, discover The Marian Pilgrimage Center of TraKieu where once located the first capital city of the Hindu Champa Kingdom.

    11:30 Have lunch at local restaurant.

    14:00 Drop off at your hotel in Da Nang city.

    Day 6: Da nang- Ba Na Hills– Danang– Hue (B, L)

    07:30-08:30 Our guide and driver will pick you up fromyour hotel, depart for Ba Na Hill through one of the most beautiful seaside streets of Central Vietnam.

    09:00Arrive in Ba Na, you will have a chance to experience the two – UNESCO – record cable system  up to the top of the hill and enjoy the beautiful sight of Mo stream, Toc Tien waterfall with the impressive dazzling white spume.

    Sightseeing on Ba Na Hill to:

    • Hand of the gods hold Vietnam’s Golden Bridge.
    • L’Jardin Zone with French Architecture Building: Tinh Tâm Garden, French Stable, one hundred year-old pomelo tree, Old Villas.
    • Linh Ung Pagoda, 27 meters Buddha Statue, Loc Uyen Garden.

    11:30 From Debay station, you will get on the second cable system to move to Nui Chua Peak – the rooftop of Da nang City. Enjoy lunch.

    • Continue the tour with Fantasy Park – one of the most modern indoor game centers of the Asia.
    • Visit Linh Chua Linh Tu temple, enjoy a panoramic view of the whole Da Nang city and Da Nang bay through the mist in a romantic afternoon on Ba Na peak.

    Go down by the cable system. Get on coach and return the city centre.

    17:30 -19:00 Drop off at hotel in Hue.

    Day 7: Hue city tour (B/L)

    8.00 am or 12h30 pm: We will pick you up at your hotel in Hue city center and transfer to the boat station then get on a dragon boat cruise on the Perfume River.

    • We will go upstream of Perfume River and stop to visit Thien Mu Pagoda (Heavenly Lady pagoda – symbol of Hue). Admire Phuoc Duyen Tower (at 7 stories high) is a famous symbolic link with Thien Mu Pagoda. Besides that, there are several popular works of art inside the pagoda such as Dai Hong Chung Bell, Dai Hung shrine, the main-hall, the car left in 1963 by the Superior Buddhist monk Thich Quang Duc, the Tower of the Superior Buddhist monk Thich Don Hau,…

    (Important Reminder: Please wear clothes that cover your knees when visiting this place)

    • Back to your private dragon boat, you will be taken to visit Hon Chen Temple – a place for worshipping Goddess Thien Y A Na (known as a religion of Cham people). It is in a shape of a downward-facing cup on the bank of the Perfume River. This temple houses a great number of rare and attractive objects handed down from the past.
    • We will end the dragon boat in Minh Mang Tomb – a perfect combination of man-made and natural beauty in tomb Hue. It was built in 1840 under the order of Minh Mang King. This majestic tomb is well-known as the most beautiful and majestic tomb (its architecture and sublime forest setting) of Nguyen Dynasty.

    1:30Pm: we wii visit famously being one of Vietnam’s seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the Imperial City of Hue has long been a must-see attraction for tourists visiting a hidden charm of Vietnam.
    04:00 pm:
     Our driver will pick you up from Minh Mang Tomb and transfer you to Dong Ba Marketthe biggest and the oldest local Market in Hue City. It has hundreds of stalls selling the most of Hue’s delicious dishes, many colorful fruits and goods whenever you want. Visit this market to experience the typical trading methods and the bustling lifestyle in Hue.

    Then drop you off at your hotel in Hue city center.

    Day 8: Hue- Flight to Hanoi- Hanoi walking street food tour

    – Meet tour guide at hotel or meeting point before 3 hour walking tour.

    – Quick Vietnamese greeting lessons.

    – Tour guides discuss any food allergies before starting tour and tell tourists about Vietnamese cuisine, Vietnamese (Hanoian) history, culture while touring.

    – Tour guides will take tourists to eat at lots of special corners , alleys and restaurants of The Old Quarter that you might miss if you go by yourself to try variety of street foods and drinks such as:Bún chả ( Grilled pork with noodle), Phở bò,gà ( Beef, chicken noodle soup), Bún ốc (Snail noodle soup), Bánh cuốn ( Steamed rice papper rolls), Bánh gối ( Pillow cake), Nem rán ( Fried spring rolls), Bánh tôm (Shrimp cake), Bánh Mỳ (Vietnamese sandwich), Chè ( Sweet gruel soup), Bánh Bao (Vietnamese dumpling), Bánh khoai, chuối ( Sweet potato,Banana cake), Hoa quả dầm ( Mixture fresh-fruit), Bia Hơi (Fresh beer), Trà đá (Iced tea), Café trứng (Egg coffee) …….

    Day 9: Hanoi city Tour (B,L)

    8.00- 8.30: Get picked up by our friendly guide and start to explore Hanoi City

    08.45: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish IsLand in West Lake

    It is the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi built in the 6th century.

    09.30: Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Godess of Mercy – It is the most unique padoga in the world

    • Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, temples, pagodas…
    • Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.
    • Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed at least 2 months (15thJune -15thAugust) for the annual maintaining but still can take picture Mausoleum and visit around that area

    11.15: Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam

    Special Note : we will visit Women Museum instead of Ethnology Museum closed on Mondays

    12.45: Have lunch at our restaurant. You have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine

    with 8 delicious dishes.

    14.00-14.15 : Continue to visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 century

    15.15: Leave for Hoa Lo Prison Museum which originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the Hanoi Hilton”

    16.15 -16.30: Tour finishes. Back to hotel

    Day 10: Hanoi- Ninh Binh 1 day (B,L)

    07h30 – 8h00: Get picked up by our friendly guide then depart for Ninh Binh province

    09h15: Have a short break for 15 – 20 minutes to relax

    10h30: Visit Hoa Lư ancient capital of Vietnam between 968 and 1010. You have a chance to learn about Vietnamese history in the feudal system under Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasty

    11h45: Have a buffet lunch in the restaurant with a lot of local foods such as goat meat, fish, chicken, fried rice…. Vegetarian foods are always available in the buffet lunch

    13h00: Visit Trang An which was recognized by UNESCO as A World Heritage Site in 2014. Trang An has a wonderful tunnel cave system so Kong’s Movie Group chose this place for the New Version of Kong in 2016 – “Skull Island”. With 2 hours for the boat trip, you will be persuaded by the beauty here.

    15h00: Continue the tour for 45 mins – cycling around the village to discover the life of the local people.

    15h45: Get back to Limousine Bus then leave for Mua Cave (Dancing Cave). Walk up almost 500 steps, you can reach the top of Lying Dragon Mountain & have an amazing panoramic view of Tam Coc from here

    17h00: Get on the bus to return to Hanoi

    19h00: Get dropped off at Hotel in Hanoi

    Day 11: Hanoi – Sapa – Cat Cat village (L/D)

    6.30 – 7.00: Pick up from your hotel, get on Good Morning Sapa bus, and depart for Sapa.

    9.30: Follow the highway with the first comfort break in Phu Tho Province.

    11.00: Second comfort break at Lao Cai city before approaching Sapa.

    12.30: Arrive Sapa Town with colorful traditional costumes of H’mong, Dzao, Tay ethnic People.

    • Welcome drink and itinerary briefing.
    • Enjoy the lunch with local Vietnamese dishes, check-in procedures.

    14.00: Start trekking to Cat Cat village – home of Black H’Mong People, you visit Cat Cat waterfall and the Hydrofoil constructed by the French in 19th Century, visit family of H’’Mong People to understand their culture and customs.

    17.00: Go back to Sapa town for refreshing, then have dinner in peace, enjoy night activities.

    Day 12: Sapa – Fansipan Peak – Hanoi by bus (B/L)

    8.00: After breakfast in hotel, driver & tour guide take you to Cable Car Station and spend 20 minutes with cable car to enjoy the spectacular scenery.

    9.00: Reach the altitute of 2800 meters, you have a good time to see the view and take photos, visit pagoda the spiritual destinations and trek up to 600 steps you will reach the peak of Fansipan – the Roof of Indochina. (Spend about 1, 5 hours for hiking and taking photos).

    11.00: Come back to Cable Car Station and return to Sapa town.

    12.30: Have lunch in the hotel.

    13.30 – 15.45: Relax and discover Sapa town by yourself with some souvenirs, meet all group members at hotel to get ready for Hanoi.

    16.00: Get on bus to go back to Hanoi with two comfort breaks.

    20.45: We drop off on bus station in Tran Quang Khai, Hoan Kiem Street

    DAY 13: HANOI – HALONG BAY – OVER NIGHT CRUISE

    08.00- 8:30: Pick up at the Old Quarter area to transfer from Hanoi to Halong Bay (If the package is included shuttle service). We will use the high-speed way, which is just with 2-hour drive and NO rest stops.

    11:45: Your first stop is Tuan Chau harbor. Check in the cruise.

    12:15: After taken to the to HaLong  Cruise, you will be checked in. While enjoying welcome drinks, you will be introduced the itinerary and cruise safety.

    13:00: You will have time to savor your delicious lunch and enjoy the stunning views as the boat cruises towards the southeast of Halong Bay, passing Dog Island, Dinh Huong islet (Incence Burner islet); kissing rocks – The symbol of Halong tourism.

    14:45: Further cruising to the core zone of Halong bay, your first stop is the visit to the Sung Sot Cave, one of the biggest caves in Ha Long Bay with beautiful stalactites. Once you exit the cave, you will be surprised by the breathtaking panoramic view of the Bay as well as the stalactites and stalagmites formed over millions of years which have taken on fascinating shapes.

    16.30: You will visit the popular Titov Island, where you can go swimming or hike to the top for another stunning, and panoramic view of the Bay.

    17:30: Back on board, you can enjoy a sunset party with HAPPY HOUR – buy 2 get 1 free on drinks at Sky Leaf Bar, or join some games provided at reception.

    18:30: If you are interested in Vietnamese cuisines, please join our traditional Vietnamese cooking class on the sundeck under the experienced Chef’s guiding (or in the restaurant in case of inclement weather).

    19:15: Delighted dinner.

    20:30: This is the perfect time for you to enjoy our Sky Leaf Bar on the top floor. Besides, we provide free squid fishing tools at reception.

    22:30: Overnight on Cruise.     

    DAY 14 : LAN HA BAY – VIET HAI VILLAGE – CAT BA ISLAND

    07:00 | Have light breakfast

    08:30 | Discover Cat Ba Island- Lan Ha Bay on the hidden route.

    You will be transferred to the day tour cruise to visit the Bay to go further than Lan Ha Bay. You start the journey to discover Viet Hai village – a peaceful village with extremely beautiful scenery by bike, through vast rice fields. You stop to rest and visit the old house made from straw, mud, and bamboo to find out the lives of local people.

    12:00: Return to the day tour cruise. You will be served lunch with a variety of dishes at the restaurant.

    14h00: The cruise takes you to the pristine beach area- Ba Trai Dao beach. This is the most beautiful beach in Lan Ha Bay with nature amazing white sand, very quiet and less tourists, you are free to swim or participate in kayaking activity.

    16:30: Return to HaLong Lotus Cruise. You will be watching the sunset fall on Lan Ha Bay, immersed in soothing or vibrant music, sipping a cocktail.

    19:15: Enjoy dinner at a restaurant on HaLong Lotus Cruise.

    20:45 – 00:00: Enjoy the nightlife of Ha Long Bay from the deck. Immerse yourself in music, enjoy a glass of cocktail from the bar, sing karaoke and relax on the cruise. Otherwise, you can fish squids with the sailors or simply relax in the room and view Ha Long Bay from the balcony.

    DAY 15: HALONG BAY – HANOI (BREAKFAST – LUNCH)

    06:45: Light breakfast is served at the restaurant.

    08:00: Visit to the Luon Cave and take an optional 30-minute kayaking (inclusive or exclusive depending in defferent). Visit Luon Cave which is one of the largest caves in Ha Long Bay with beautiful stalactite blocks. You’ll be amazed at the panoramic views of the Bay as you exit the cave as well as the stalactites and rocks formed over millions of years in fascinating shapes.

    09:15: Back on board, Set sometimes for last wash up and packing all your belongings

    09:30: Check out and return to Tuan Chau arbor.

    10:30: Farewell lunch served on board.

    11:15 – 11:30: Make the payment. Get back to the harbor and get to our Shuttle bus to return to Hanoi.

    14:30-15:00: Get back to your hotels in Hanoi Old Quarter. End of the tour.
